Apple's iPad 2 launched March 11, selling out within hours across the country, as Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster said the device sold as many as 500,000 units for the weekend. The iPad 2 sold out across 236 U.S. retail stores and in more than 10,000 other stores, including AT&T and Verizon stores, as well as retailers Target, Best Buy and Wal-Mart, in the United States.
